Distressed Jeans Design Project
USD 250–750
About the project
I’m creating a casual-wear line and the first hero piece is a pair of distressed jeans. I already know the mood I’m after—authentic wear patterns, soft but durable denim, and a silhouette that sits comfortably between a classic straight leg and a subtle taper—yet I need help translating these ideas into production-ready assets. Here’s what I need from you: • A complete design concept with front, back, and detail views that clearly show the distress placement, wash, and hardware. • A tech pack that includes flat sketches, graded size specs, fabric and trim call-outs, stitching details, and care-label instructions. • Fabric and wash recommendations that balance an on-trend vintage fade with long-term durability. • Optional (but appreciated) sourcing suggestions or small-run manufacturer contacts. I’ll provide reference photos, measurements from my fit sample, and brand guidelines as soon as we start. Accuracy in the tech pack is critical because the factory will work directly from it; any missing dimension or unclear annotation will delay sampling, so I’ll review each section together with you before sign-off. Adobe Illustrator (or an equivalent vector tool) is preferred for the flats, and the final files should be delivered both as editable AI and print-ready PDF. If you can model a quick 3D mock-up in CLO or Browzwear to preview the distressing, let me know—that could be a nice bonus, though not mandatory. Looking forward to seeing how you bring these distressed jeans to life.
