PROJECT TITLE Blender + HeyGen Video Production Assistant for Medical Education – Paid Trial PROJECT DESCRIPTION I am developing a professional medical education video series for medical, nursing, and allied-health students. I am looking for an affordable, reliable freelancer who can assist with the technical production side using Blender and HeyGen. This is not a request to create an entire medical course for $50. This first project is a small paid trial. If the quality is good, there is potential for ongoing freelance work as we produce more lessons. WHAT I WILL PROVIDE I will provide: Medical/anatomy lesson content and scripts Professor/presenter direction Existing visual references and production ideas Anatomical and medical instructions Scene instructions Feedback and corrections You are not expected to write the medical course or independently determine the medical content. WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO I need someone who can assist with: Blender scene setup Importing and positioning existing 3D models and assets Basic character positioning and animation Basic camera animation Lighting and rendering Displaying anatomical organs/models beside the presenter Simple organ rotation and camera movements Adding labels and callouts when required Creating and assembling presenter scenes in HeyGen Synchronising scenes with the supplied narration/script Basic video editing Adding subtitles and on-screen text Creating clean transitions between scenes Exporting clean vertical and horizontal educational videos PAID TEST PROJECT For the first milestone, I want a short 30–60 second medical education demonstration. Example sequence: Establishing shot of a medical university or lecture environment. Professor/presenter appears and begins teaching. Camera moves closer to the presenter. A 3D anatomical heart appears beside the presenter. The heart rotates slowly or is presented clearly for teaching. Important anatomical structures are highlighted or labelled. Presenter continues explaining while the anatomical visual remains visible. Clean transition and ending shot. The objective is not advanced Hollywood animation. I need a clean, professional educational result that can eventually be reproduced efficiently for many medical lessons. REQUIRED SKILLS Blender HeyGen, or ability to learn and use HeyGen quickly Basic video editing Camera and lighting fundamentals Working with existing 3D assets Basic 3D animation Ability to follow detailed instructions Good communication Attention to detail Experience producing educational or medical content is helpful but not essential. IMPORTANT I am not looking for someone to redesign the entire project from scratch. I want someone who is comfortable receiving a prepared script, assets, medical instructions, and clear production directions and then handling the technical production efficiently. You must be willing to make reasonable corrections after feedback. Medical knowledge is helpful but not required because the medical content and academic direction will be provided. VIDEO FORMATS You should be able to produce: 9:16 vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts 16:9 horizontal videos for YouTube and longer educational lessons BUDGET Maximum total budget for this initial paid trial: $50 USD. Please do not bid above $50 for the trial. This is a fixed-price trial project. If the trial is successful, we can discuss additional projects separately. There is potential for ongoing freelance work for the right person. WHEN APPLYING, PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS How long have you been using Blender? Have you used HeyGen? If yes, please describe what you have done with it. Can you import existing anatomical 3D models into Blender and animate them instead of modelling everything from scratch? Can you create simple camera movements, lighting, organ rotations, and basic animations in Blender? Which video-editing software do you use? Can you produce both 9:16 vertical videos and 16:9 horizontal videos? Please provide examples of your actual previous Blender, animation, or video production work. Which example from your portfolio best demonstrates your ability to complete this project? How quickly could you complete a 30–60 second test video after receiving all required assets and instructions? What is your fixed price for this trial? Maximum budget is $50 USD.
