Progressive Die Design in NX

About the project
I have already taken the progressive-die project through the preliminary design stage and now need an expert who can push it over the finish line inside Siemens NX. The tool must cover the full sequence of punching, forming, and bending operations and be optimised for mild-steel strip. I will supply my current NX files, strip layout thoughts, tonnage estimates, and part prints. Your task is to refine the strip layout, complete all die-set components (punch plates, die plates, lifters, strippers, guides, etc.), and produce fully detailed 3D and 2D deliverables ready for machining. Key deliverables • Final NX assembly of the complete progressive die, fully constrained • Manufacturing-ready 2D drawings for every component, including BOM • Exploded views or step-by-step visuals that clearly show the punching, forming, and bending stations • A brief design report explaining critical decisions (clearances, material utilisation, press tonnage, safety features) Acceptance criteria The design must run mild-steel coil without burrs or part distortion, respect the press window I will specify, and keep material utilisation above 75 %. All NX files have to open error-free in the current release of NX.
