Infrastructure Quantity Estimation Specialist
USD 250–750
About the project
I’m looking for precise, professional support with quantity estimation for current and upcoming infrastructure projects. My main focus is generating accurate Bills of Quantities and material take-offs that can feed directly into our civil infrastructure design process. You will receive the latest drawings, specifications and any survey data we have, and I’ll need you to measure, calculate and present quantities in a clear, well-structured spreadsheet (Excel or compatible). The work is strictly estimation-centric; no costing or scheduling is required at this stage, but your numbers must be detailed enough for our design team to rely on. Because these are large-scale infrastructure assets—think roads, drainage and utilities—you should already be comfortable reading civil plans and working with industry standards such as CSI or NRM. Experience with tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or specialised take-off software will be important for efficiency and consistency. Deliverables • A complete, itemised Bill of Quantities for each project package supplied • A brief methodology file outlining assumptions, calculation methods and any clarifications you needed to make • A change log if revisions are needed so we can track updates easily Acceptance criteria • All quantities match provided drawings within an accepted tolerance • Units, descriptions and section numbering follow the template I provide • File formats: Excel (.xlsx) and searchable PDF for sign-off Turnaround time is flexible but accuracy is non-negotiable. Once we complete one package successfully, there is potential for ongoing collaboration on the wider programme. Let’s discuss your experience with infrastructure quantity take-offs and how soon you can start.
