Android Fantasy Board Game

About the project

I need a complete roll-and-move board game built in Unity for Android devices. The setting is firmly Fantasy, so expect classic realms, creatures, and magical power-ups rather than sci-fi tech or historical armies. The core loop is simple: players roll, move along a branching path, trigger tile events, collect items, and compete to reach the final tile first. Gameplay must support true multiplayer. I want people sitting in the same room to connect over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, yet also be able to open the app on opposite sides of the world and meet in an online lobby. Whether you prefer Photon, Unity Netcode, Mirror, or another proven solution, I’m open—as long as matchmaking is smooth, latency is hidden, and basic security (cheat prevention, turn validation) is in place. Visuals do not have to be AAA, but they should feel cohesive: a stylised 3D board, animated dice, and readable UI that scales from a small phone to a large tablet. Audio can be lightweight—looping background music plus a handful of SFX for rolls, tile triggers, and victory. Because this is a self-contained mobile release, I’ll need: • An installable .apk (or .aab) ready for internal testing • All Unity project files, organised and commented • Clear instructions for building the project and adding new boards or characters • A brief report on the networking stack and how to configure servers or rooms Acceptance is straightforward: I launch the game on two local devices and two remote devices, start a match from each environment, play through a complete session without disconnects, and all players see identical results every turn.
