3D Animation Production (13-Episode Edutainment Series / 8 minutes each)

About the project

Overview We’re seeking a full-service 3D animation studio to produce a 13-episode children’s series titled Brilliance Squad. The series will introduce children (ages 5 - 12) to a story about minerals through engaging, values-based storytelling. Scope of Work Each episode will be approximately a maximum of 8 minutes long, featuring an 8-year-old girl who travels to Brilliancetown, a world of living gems, where she learns about precious stones, sustainability, and national values. Voice-over Recording (Final VO) will be provided by us. We will guide on sound design and local music integration. Freelancer / Studio must deliver broadcast-ready episodes including: • 3D animation (assets, rigs, rendering, compositing) • Voice casting, direction, and recording • Original music, chants, foley, and sound effects • Audio post-production, mix, and master • Subtitles (.srt) and transcripts • 30-second social media cuts (16:9 and 9:16) • Editable project files and asset handover Deliverables (Per Episode) • Final masters - downloadable (720p) • Full audio mix + M&E + stems • Clean VO WAVs per character • Music stems (theme, underscore, chant) • SFX & foley stems • Scene files, rigs, texture maps, and VFX passes • Subtitles (.srt) and transcripts • 30-sec social media versions (landscape + portrait) Creative Direction Tone & Style: Warm, imaginative, and proudly a mix of Bluey’s emotional warmth, Daniel Tiger’s educational depth, and Peppa Pig’s visual simplicity. World: “Brilliancetown” – a gem-textured, tactile world rich in wonder. Music: African-inspired melodies; recurring chant triggers the portal between worlds. Episode 1 Focus: “What Is a Diamond?” – introduces Dintle the Diamond and explains diamond formation and social value. Technical & Quality Requirements • Audio: LUFS-compliant broadcast loudness • Smooth lip-sync and expressive rigs • No render artefacts; gem surfaces readable at child scale • Must be localisation-ready (M&E + subtitle sync) Timeline (Indicative for 13 Episodes) Week Milestone 0 Kick-off + pipeline plan 1–3 Pre-production: designs, storyboards, Ep1 animatic 4–5 VO + music locked (Ep1) 6–8 Ep1 rough animation + rough mix 9–10 Ep1 final picture + audio lock 11+ Rolling delivery of remaining 12 episodes Includes two revision rounds per milestone.
