Photo to Full-Scale 3D Statue

About the project

I have a set of high-resolution photos of one person, along with a short video for extra reference. I need you to turn this material into a watertight, print-ready 3D model suitable for producing a life-size indoor statue. Because the piece will be viewed up close, every fold of clothing, facial feature and subtle contour has to be captured with high fidelity and a clean topology that will withstand the stresses of full-scale 3D printing. You are free to use any proven workflow—RealityCapture, Metashape, ZBrush, Blender, Maya, or a combination—but the final files must import smoothly into standard slicing software (PrusaSlicer, Cura, etc.) without repair. Feel free to hollow, key or section the model if that simplifies printing and assembly; just keep wall thicknesses and interlocks practical for a consumer FDM or resin setup. Deliverables: • A single, watertight STL (or OBJ) in true human scale, ready to slice. • Any split or keyed parts, clearly named and oriented. • A low-poly preview file for quick viewing. • A brief note on the capture-to-cleanup process so I can replicate future edits if needed. If the mesh passes a basic Netfabb or Meshmixer analysis with zero non-manifold edges and prints cleanly in a small test section, we’re done.
