About the project

I’m putting together a small line of statement pieces that includes a wing-back chair, matching foot-rest, an accent table, a console that cleverly doubles as a planter, plus coordinating back and lumbar cushions. I need a product designer who can translate my ideas into production-ready assets while keeping the overall vibe eclectic and grounded in neutral tones. Here’s the creative direction: • Style: Eclectic—feel free to blend references, mix periods, and play with unexpected details, but be sure the collection still reads as a family. • Palette: white , white marble with tail veins, wood (light) fabric is white leather from the front and mixed green from the back; texture and material contrast will bring the interest rather than loud color. • Materials: I’m open to a thoughtful mix—wood, metal, composites, sustainable inserts—whatever brings the concept to life without compromising manufacturability. Deliverables I’m expecting • Concept sketches for each piece showing proportions and functional features • Refined 3D models (STEP or similar) suitable for prototyping/CNC • Basic exploded views or call-outs that communicate joinery, upholstery breaks and planter drainage details on the console • A short spec sheet noting primary materials and finishes so suppliers can quote easily Acceptance criteria 1. All pieces must share at least one unifying design element (e.g., a repeated profile or hardware detail). 2. Console planter section must include proper water containment and airflow provisions. 3. Wing-back chair must meet standard ergonomic dimensions for average adult comfort.
