About the project

I need a complete design concept for a pair of men’s formal loafers crafted in smooth black leather. The silhouette should balance timeless elegance with a subtle modern edge that will sit comfortably alongside classic Oxfords in a formal wardrobe yet feel unmistakably like a loafer. Scope of work You will take the idea from initial sketch through to factory-ready documentation. That means refining the upper pattern, deciding on stitching lines, selecting an appropriate last shape, and specifying sole construction (leather sole or a slim rubber insert for traction—open to whichever best complements the design while preserving a dressy profile). Deliverables • Hand or digital concept sketches (front, side, rear, top views) • Detailed tech pack: measurements, pattern pieces, materials call-outs, hardware references, color codes (black), and finishing notes • Sole and heel drawings with material stack details • High-quality renderings or mock-ups suitable for marketing decks (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent 3D/CAD such as Rhino, CLO3D, or KeyShot) • Production-ready files in vector/PDF format Acceptance criteria • Loafer design must read “formal” when paired with a suit—no casual moc stitching or heavy lug soles • All components specified as genuine leather; any lining or insole materials clearly labeled • Black tone uniform across upper, heel, and welt with matching edge paint • Tech pack dimensions accurate to ±1 mm and presented in metric Timeline and collaboration Share the first round of sketches within a week so we can lock in the proportion and detailing early.
