Optimize Heavy SketchUp Model

About the project

My current SketchUp file has grown to roughly 100 MB after importing several 3D Warehouse items, complex textures, and high-detail models. It now opens and saves painfully slowly. I need two things done as soon as possible: • First, shrink the .skp file while keeping its visual integrity—strip out or compress the heavy 3D components, tidy textures and materials, and generally bring the size down to something more manageable. • Second, produce one quick, clean render (just a single still image) of the optimized scene so I can share it with a client immediately. You may use any standard SketchUp-compatible workflow you prefer—component cleanup, texture resizing, model simplification with native tools or plugins such as CleanUp³, Skimp, Transmutr, etc.—so long as the final file opens fast and the render looks the same as before the slimming process. Deliverables 1. Optimized .skp file that launches in seconds, not minutes 2. One high-quality JPEG/PNG render (1920×1080 or higher) I’m ready to hand over the original file right away and would like the finished assets back within 24 hours. If you need clarification, just let me know—speed and a noticeably lighter file are the priorities.
