About the project

A new landing page aimed squarely at fellow actuaries is ready for a final, professional once-over. The page’s purpose is to promote an Excel addin, so every word must resonate with actuarial readers while clearly communicating value. The task centres on three things: first, does the language and lingo feel authentic to everyday actuarial practice; second, is the message easy to follow for someone versed in Excel and actuarial modeling and has experience working aa an actuary; and third, after reading, would an actuary immediately grasp how the product helps them? Please walk through the page as you would any technical communication, noting jargon that lands or misses, passages that could confuse, and points where tangible benefits should be sharpened. I welcome marginal notes, tracked-change comments, or a short report—whatever format lets you deliver direct, actionable feedback. Deliverables • Annotated copy (PDF, Word, or Google Doc) with in-line comments • One-page summary highlighting the three biggest wins and three highest-impact fixes The critique will guide our final edit before launch, so concise, candid remarks are far more valuable than lengthy rewrites. An actuary’s eye on clarity, credibility, and practical relevance is exactly what this page needs. The page is at calc4web.com/index_speedup6.html
