About the project

I have a mechanical prototype that now needs to move from rough sketches to production-ready documentation. For this stage I require complete CAD support in both 3D modelling and 2D drafting. The 3D side should give me a fully-featured, parametric model of every component and the complete assembly, ready for tolerance checks and basic motion verification. The 2D work must translate those models into clear manufacturing drawings with dimensions, section views and any critical GD&T notes so a machinist can begin cutting parts without further clarification. Preferred native formats are SolidWorks (.sldprt/.sldasm) or Inventor, plus neutral STEP/IGES for sharing. All drawings should also be delivered as DWG/DXF and PDF. Acceptance criteria • 3D model of each part and the full assembly, error-free on rebuild • Exploded view and simple animation for assembly reference • 2D drawings for every part and assembly, fully dimensioned and toleranced • Bill of materials automatically linked to the model • All source files and exported formats supplied in an organised folder structure Once delivered I’ll run a quick cross-check, and if everything fits the spec we move straight on to prototype machining.
