Festival Octagon Tent CAD
USD 250–750
About the project
I have already sketched an event-grade tent for use at a festival and now need the concept turned into fully detailed CAD files. The structure is a 30-foot (9.14 m) diameter octagon framed with 1.5-inch ECT tubing and skinned in shade cloth. Your job is to translate my hand drawings and notes into professional 2D plans and a clean 3D model that a fabricator can follow without guessing. What I expect: • Accurate layout of the eight sides, including overall footprint, clear-span height, and roof pitch. • Precise tube lengths, mitre angles, and connection details (sleeves, pins, or plates) so I can generate a cut list straight from your drawings. • Representation of the shade-cloth panels, showing attachment points and any tensioning hardware. • Exported files in DWG/DXF for the shop and a STEP (or similar) 3D model for visual checks. I’m comfortable reviewing in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360, so choose whichever platform gives you the most control. The deliverable will be signed off when dimensions match my specs, parts list is complete, and all joints are clearly called out. If you’ve tackled festival or event structures before, let me see a sample; otherwise, strong mechanical detailing experience is fine. Turnaround within one week of project start would keep me on schedule, but let me know realistically how long you need.
