About the project

I’m developing a children’s library that must feel at once colourful and playful yet still calm, serene and decidedly modern. The space needs to welcome every age group—from toddlers up to adults—so zones have to shift naturally from cosy floor-level corners to more grown-up seating without breaking the overall aesthetic. Core areas I need planned • Prominent book-display wall that instantly draws kids in • Flexible reading area with soft, wipe-clean seating and good task lighting • Parents’ waiting lounge that lets adults relax while still keeping an eye on their children • Multi-use activity zone for story-time sessions, craft workshops and interactive games (ample storage for supplies is essential) • Compact but inviting reception / check-in desk that anchors the entry What I’d like from you • Scaled space plan showing furniture, circulation and clear sight-lines for supervision • Mood board capturing the blend of bright, playful colour with sleek, calming finishes • 3D visualisations or rendered perspectives so stakeholders can “walk through” the concept • A concise furniture & materials list that highlights child-safe, durable options and any interactive tech you propose I’ll share detailed dimensions and photos of the current shell once we start, and I’m happy to iterate together until the layout is optimised for flow, acoustics and easy maintenance. If you work in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max or similar software, just let me know; source files will form part of the final hand-over. Looking forward to seeing how you can turn this vision into a vibrant, well-organised reality for kids, parents and staff alike.
