SolidWorks Canopy Dimension Revisions
GBP 10–20
About the project
I need to update an existing SolidWorks model — and its associated 3D drawing — for an outdoor canopy. The overall geometry, materials, and component mix remain exactly as they are; the only change is to resize the canopy’s plan so the width and length match new site constraints. I have approximate target figures and will share those with you along with the current .SLDASM/.SLDPRT set and drawing sheet. Your help finalising the exact numbers, validating clearances, and then rebuilding the model is what I’m after. Once the new footprint is agreed, please regenerate every affected sketch, feature, and driven dimension so the model stays fully parametric. I would like clean feature trees (no red-light warnings) and updated views on the 2D sheet, scaled correctly, with revised title-block notes. Deliverables • Updated SolidWorks assembly & part files with the new width and length • Revised 2D drawing (DWG or PDF) reflecting the changes • Quick notes on the final dimensions you settled on and any design implications you spotted If you routinely work in recent SolidWorks versions and are comfortable tweaking design tables or global variables, this should be a straightforward task. Looking forward to collaborating and getting the canopy ready for fabrication.
