About the project
I need an experienced CAD designer who can meet me on-site in Tamil Nadu to turn my hand-drawn concept into a fully detailed 3D model for functional testing. Fusion 360 is the tool of choice, so you should be completely comfortable building complex parts and assemblies in that environment, setting correct dimensions and tolerances, and preparing watertight geometry for PLA 3D printing. The part will be printed, evaluated, then refined; I’ll rely on your guidance to incorporate feedback quickly and keep the design printable without sacrificing strength or accuracy. A solid grasp of joints, mating features and common 3D-printing constraints is essential because the prototype must work straight off the printer. Deliverables • Native Fusion 360 file (.f3d) with organised history and named components • Exported STEP and STL files that slice error-free • Up to two iterative revisions after the first test print, delivered within agreed turnarounds Acceptance criteria The files must open in Fusion 360 without missing references, pass mesh integrity checks, and fit together as intended when printed in PLA on a standard FDM machine.
