Segmented 3D Prototype Design

About the project

I already have a rough concept blocked out, but I need a professional 3D designer to turn it into a clean, print-ready project that I can load straight into my slicer. The finished prototype will stand somewhere between one and three feet tall, so the model must be broken into at least eight individual parts (possibly more). Several of those parts are identical repeats—one master file should drive all duplicates to keep the job lean. You’ll work from my detailed guidelines: exact outer dimensions, mating faces, and hardware clearances are all spelled out. I can share STEP references, sketches, and a dimensioned PDF showing how every segment nests together. Your job is to translate those details into watertight, support-friendly files that slot together cleanly after printing. Key expectations • Provide separate files for every unique segment, clearly labeled, plus a simple assembly overview. • Maintain print-friendly wall thicknesses, chamfers, and tolerances for typical FDM printers (I default to 0.2 mm layer height and ±0.15 mm clearance on press-fits). • Flag any geometry that might need extra support or orientation adjustments before I hit “slice.” • Deliver final STL (or 3MF) plus the native CAD so I can tweak if future revisions pop up. I’ll review each piece by test-printing a small section; once everything dry-fits, we’re done. If you’re confident in multi-part prototyping, let’s get this ready for the printer bed.
