3D CAD Design for Speaker-Stand Concepts

About the project

Pinscher Group is seeking an experienced CAD/product designer to develop two existing sculptural wooden speaker-stand concepts into accurate, manufacturing-ready 3D CAD. The designs are already established and reference drawings/renders are attached. This is not a ground-up design project. The goal is to preserve the sculptural appearance while refining the geometry for real-world manufacturing. Project requirements: Advanced organic/freeform surface modeling Approx. stand height: 24.4 in / 620 mm Semi-universal top plate for high-end bookshelf/monitor speakers Primary sculptural structure manufactured from wood Evaluate the best construction method: one piece, two pieces, or another practical configuration Optimize for CNC machining, strength, material usage, assembly and finishing Concealed speaker-cable routing First prototype approximately 1:4 scale for 3D printing Required deliverables: Native/editable CAD model STEP/STP STL Separate component files as required Assembly/exploded view Basic dimensioned manufacturing drawings 1:4-scale watertight STL for prototype printing Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino or comparable professional software is acceptable. Please quote Concept A and Concept C separately. We will most likely select one concept for the initial project. In your proposal, please include: Fixed price for each concept Estimated completion time Number of revisions included CAD software you will use Your proposed approach to CNC construction/part division At least one example of previous organic/freeform surface modeling, preferably furniture, wood products or CNC-manufactured components Important: We are specifically looking for strong organic/surface-modeling ability. Please do not bid based only on conventional mechanical CAD experience. If the first project is successful, additional speaker-stand designs will follow.
