About the project

Solidworks grip module 1. Confidential Information All CAD files, SolidWorks files (.SLDPRT, .SLDASM, .SLDDRW), Fusion 360 files (.f3d), STEP files, STL files, 2D drawings, measurements, specifications, designs, notes, and communications related to the Project are confidential. Contractor shall not disclose, share, or publish any of it to any third party. 2. Ownership All work product created for the Project — including CAD files, SolidWorks files, Fusion 360 files, STEP files, STL files, 2D CNC drawings, manufacturability notes, models, and any derivatives — is the sole property of Client upon creation. Contractor assigns all rights, title, and interest to Client. 3. No Resale or Duplication Contractor shall not sell, license, reproduce, or create derivative works of the Project for any other person or entity. Contractor shall not use the designs, measurements, or methods developed for this Project in any other work. 4. Return of Materials Upon request or termination, Contractor shall return or destroy all files, copies, and materials related to the Project and confirm in writing that no copies remain in their possession. 5. Scope of Work Contractor will rebuild the grip module as a fully parametric SolidWorks part from Client’s STEP file and measured dimensions. Deliverables: • Native .SLDPRT with a full feature tree. Every feature named by function (FCU channel, dovetail, magwell, mag-release slot, diamond pattern, trigger guard, logo) — not Sketch1 / Fillet12. • 2D drawings for CNC machining (.SLDDRW and PDF) with tolerances and critical fits. • Manufacturability / analysis notes (wall thickness, draft, and features that will not machine or print clean). • Screenshots of the expanded named feature tree. The model must be editable: • Sketches and extrudes drive the body • Fillets/radii linked to parameters • Diamond pattern as real wrap/cut geometry, not a decal • Mag-release tab/slot as its own dimension • Serial-number cut on the right side only • Overall length ~204–205 mm per STEP / Client measurements • FCU pocket, takedown hole, and magwell sized to Client measurements 6. Timeline • First parametric file for review: 2 days from receipt of STEP and dimensions • Client review: 24 hours • Fixes from that review: 24 hours • 2D CNC drawings and analysis notes due with the approved 3D file • Design changes requested by Client after approval are separate and billed as enhancements 7. Payment $________ USD. Payment is due only after Client 3D-prints the model and confirms it against existing grips and a real FCU, and after the 2D drawings match that approved model. Revisions caused by incorrect measurements or features that do not match the STEP / agreed specs are free. Payment is not due if the file is a dumb solid, the tree is unnamed/empty, the print does not fit, or the 2D / analysis files are missing. 8. Failure to Deliver If Contractor does not deliver the native parametric .SLDPRT, 2D CNC files, and analysis notes as specified, or misses the agreed timeline without a written extension, Client may end the work and Contractor shall cancel or close the job on request. No further payment is due for undelivered work. 9. Remedies Contractor acknowledges that breach would cause irreparable harm, and Client is entitled to injunctive relief and damages. 10. Term Confidentiality and ownership obligations survive indefinitely. Client: NCC International Development, LLC
