About the project

I’m putting together a small line of statement pieces that includes a wing-back chair, matching foot-rest, an accent table, a console that cleverly doubles as a planter, plus coordinating back and lumbar cushions. I need a skilled furniture designer who specializes in creating unique and functional designs, with expertise translating ideas into production-ready assets while keeping the overall vibe eclectic and grounded in neutral tones. Here’s the creative direction: • Style: Eclectic—feel free to blend references, mix periods, and play with unexpected details, but the collection must read as a cohesive family. • Palette: White, white marble with tail veins, light wood; fabric is white leather from the front and mixed green from the back for textured contrast. Avoid loud colors. • Materials: Thoughtful mix encouraged—wood, metal, composites, sustainable inserts—to effectively bring concepts to life without compromising manufacturability. Deliverables expected: • Concept sketches for each piece showing proportions and functional features • Detailed 3D models (STEP or similar) ready for prototyping or CNC machining • Basic exploded views or call-outs showing joinery and details such as upholstery breaks and planter drainage provisions on the console. • A concise spec sheet noting primary materials and finishes for supplier quoting purposes.
