Senior Data Analyst / Digital Analytics Expert Needed – Chrome DevTools, Business Analysis & Executive Presentation
CAD 30–250
About the project
I am looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Digital Analytics / Business Analytics professional to help with a small, focused professional case study. The project involves only one scenario. The provided data is limited — approximately 6 charts/data visuals — so this is not a large raw-data, database, or statistical modeling project. The main challenge is to correctly interpret the provided charts, perform relevant business-impact calculations, complete a Chrome DevTools website-performance investigation, and then combine the evidence into a strong, defensible business recommendation. The work should be completed by September 29, 10:00 PM EDT. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will need to: - Analyze approximately 6 provided charts/data visuals - Identify the most important findings and patterns - Perform any necessary calculations and business-impact analysis - Compare different opportunities and determine which should be prioritized - Explain why the recommended opportunity deserves investment before the alternatives - Perform a detailed Chrome DevTools investigation, especially using Network and Performance - Investigate areas such as: - Core Web Vitals - JavaScript/network issues - XHR/fetch requests - Page construction - Slow or large resources - Third-party scripts - Potential technical contributors to poor performance - Capture relevant Chrome DevTools screenshots - Connect the technical findings to customer experience, conversion, retention, and potential business impact - Develop clear, evidence-based business recommendations The goal is not simply to describe the charts. The final output should answer questions such as: What should the business prioritize first? Why? What evidence supports that decision? Why should other opportunities not be prioritized first? What technical findings support the recommendation? Required Deliverables I need all of the following: 1. Executive-style presentation deck The presentation should be suitable for a diverse audience of technical and business leaders. It should clearly communicate: - Key findings - Business impact - Opportunity prioritization - Technical findings - Recommendations - Next steps Important Chrome DevTools screenshots and findings must be incorporated directly into the presentation and connected to the overall storyline. 2. Dashboard / Visual Summary A professional dashboard or visual summary presenting the most important KPIs, comparisons, findings, and recommendations. The exact tool is flexible depending on what is most appropriate. 3. Detailed Workbook / Notebook A detailed analytical workbook or notebook must also be delivered. It should document: - Source data used - Analysis process - Calculations - Formulas - Assumptions - Metrics selected - Supporting evidence - Technical observations - Business-impact calculations - Prioritization logic - Recommendations If any Python, SQL, scripts, formulas, queries, or other coding is used, the complete work should be included and clearly documented because I may need to show the underlying analysis during the presentation. 4. Detailed Explanation / Walkthrough I need either a very detailed written explanation or a walkthrough video explaining the entire project step by step. This is extremely important. The explanation should cover: - What you did for each part - How you performed the analysis - Why you selected particular metrics - Why those metrics are important - Why one opportunity was prioritized over another - Why alternative opportunities were not selected first - How calculations were performed - What assumptions were made - What was observed in Chrome DevTools - How the technical findings relate to user/customer experience - How the findings translate into business impact - How the final recommendations were developed I need to fully understand and be able to defend the analysis and recommendations during a presentation and Q&A session. The audience may challenge the findings with questions such as: - Why did you choose this metric? - Why is this the highest priority? - Why not the other opportunity? - What evidence supports this recommendation? - What did you observe in Chrome DevTools? - How confident are you in the conclusion? - What assumptions did you make? - What should the business do next? Therefore, I do not only need polished deliverables; I need the underlying reasoning clearly documented. Ideal Skills Strong candidates should have hands-on experience with: - Senior Data Analysis / Business Analysis - Digital analytics - Customer journey and conversion analysis - Business-impact analysis - Chrome DevTools Network and Performance - Core Web Vitals: LCP, CLS, INP - JavaScript/network troubleshooting - XHR/fetch investigation - Website-performance analysis - RUM / Digital Experience Monitoring / Observability concepts - Executive-level presentation and storytelling - Dashboard/report development Important This is a small project in terms of data volume, but it requires senior-level analytical judgment, technical investigation, prioritization, and communication. The freelancer must be available immediately and able to complete the full work by: September 29, 10:00 PM EDT Please apply only if you can meet this deadline. In your proposal, please briefly mention: 1. Your experience with Chrome DevTools and Core Web Vitals 2. Your experience with digital/customer analytics and business-impact analysis 3. Whether you have worked with RUM, DEM, APM, or observability platforms 4. One relevant example of a similar project 5. Your proposed fixed price for the complete scope 6. Confirmation that you can meet the deadline I would set this as a Fixed Price project rather than hourly. I’d also choose an experience level equivalent to Expert, because the data is small but the reasoning and DevTools work are the important parts.
