About the project
I need a precise SolidWorks model and fabrication-ready drawing for a CNC produced enclosure that will house electronics. The box will be made from aluminum, so please apply the correct radius for CNC typical for that material and keep the design fully compliant with standard CNC manufacturing practices. The casing will be made out of two pieces, a bottom piece hosting the PCB and lid sealed with an O-ring to the bottom. Once we begin, we will provide the draft model in 3D and PCB mounting hole positions. From there, I’d like you to develop a fully-parametric 3D model in solidworks and create detailed 2D drawings with all dimensions, tolerances. The enclosdure requires some estetical design works from the draft available. Deliverables • SolidWorks part/assembly files • STEP and PDF manufacturing drawing Please share examples of previous metal works designed, preferrably similar casings, you’ve designed and let me know your expected turnaround time.
