About the project
I manage a steady stream of residential building projects and need dependable structural input on an ongoing basis. Each home varies in size and complexity, yet every one demands code-compliant calculations, clear drawings, and practical advice that builders can trust on site. Typical tasks include preparing load-path analyses, sizing beams, joists, and foundations, reviewing architects’ plans for structural feasibility, answering contractor queries during construction, and updating documents when field changes arise. I rely on software such as AutoCAD or Revit for drawings and prefer calculations delivered in a format generated by STAAD, ETABS, RISA-3D, or similar—whatever you are most comfortable with so long as the output is transparent and easy to check. My ideal partner stays responsive, turns around revisions quickly, and documents assumptions so permitting moves smoothly. If we work well together on the first assignment, I’ll keep the projects coming.
