Realistic Moth VFX Overlay

About the project

I have a 14-second, 1080p vertical “Get ready with me” clip that needs a convincing Bogong-moth invasion. The moment I finish saying the line, the first small brown moths should drift in, with a few landing naturally on my face, hair and clothes while others build into a growing swarm around and behind me until the very end. Realism and natural behavior are the absolute priority: no oversized models, no mirrored flight paths, no cartoon looks—each moth must feel random, correctly lit and motion-blurred to match the handheld camera shake. My original footage, facial expressions, eye blinks, end-scene shaky smile and audio all stay exactly as they are; please do not alter or AI-regenerate my face. You will receive the clean source clip. In return, I need: • A final 1080p vertical MP4 ready for Instagram Reels with moths perfectly composited • (Optional, but helpful) the project file or a separate moth render pass for archiving Acceptance criteria • First insects appear immediately after the phrase “Get ready with me,” activity builds naturally throughout • Accurate Bogong scale, colouring and flight; no visible matte lines or repeated motion patterns • Original video quality, timing and audio fully preserved Feel free to use Adobe After Effects, Mocha, Blender particles or any preferred VFX tools—as long as the result sells the illusion.
