Modern Minimalist 3D Lamp Design
INR 600–1500
About the project
I’d like a clean, contemporary lamp that can be printed straight from a standard home 3-D printer. The piece should double as décor and functional lighting, with smooth geometric lines that sit comfortably in a modern, minimalist interior. Scope • Model a printable lampshade or light-focused sculpture, including any needed interlocking parts or snap-fits. • Build in space for a small LED bulb or strip; wiring channels must be accessible after printing. • Keep overhangs gentle so the design prints reliably on FDM machines without excessive supports. Deliverables 1. Final STL (and original CAD file) ready for slicing. 2. A brief print-orientation note explaining layer height, infill, and support recommendations. 3. One or two rendered images that show how light will diffuse through or around the piece. Acceptance criteria • No single part exceeds 200 mm in X, Y, or Z so it fits a typical desktop printer bed. • Wall thicknesses stay within 1.2-2 mm to balance strength and translucency. • All meshes are watertight and error-free (verified in Netfabb or similar). If you already have sample work in a similar style, feel free to share a snapshot so I can confirm we’re on the same minimalist wavelength before you dive into the final model.
