3D Printable Shell for a Bedside Reading Light
GBP 250–500
About the project
I need a smooth bedside reading-light shell, modeled from a reference sheet, designed for my Creality K2 Pro (300 mm bed). Each piece must stay under 290 mm. The touch glass is already purchased: 239 mm wide, 147 mm tall, and 2 mm thick. The body on the sheet is only 180 mm wide, so it must be scaled up while maintaining its shape. A bid must specify the glass pocket dimensions (wide × tall × deep) and the clearance around the glass. I am looking for a pocket of approximately 240 × 148 mm, about 2.4 mm deep, with around 0.5 mm clearance. Modeling will begin only after these dimensions are agreed upon. The shell should be basic and printable: - Hollow inside with no flexible necks modeled (only holes for them). - Separate pieces: body, screen frame, two wings, three stripe bands, foot glow, and two lamp heads. If the body exceeds the printer bed height, split it and hide the join under the top stripe. Deliverables: STL or 3MF files for each piece (checked in Creality Print) and a STEP file. The reference sheet will remain private until an NDA is signed. Budget: £500 fixed price - Half payment upon agreement of pocket dimensions. - Half payment upon successful slicing of files on my printer. Corrections to ensure proper fitment of the glass are included within this budget.
