Industrial Equipment Prototype CAD Design
USD 10–30
About the project
I have an industrial-grade concept that now needs to be turned into a fully-defined 3D CAD model so I can move directly into prototyping. The end goal is a digital file set that a machine shop or additive-manufacturing partner can read without further interpretation. The model must include precise, fully dimensioned geometry—every hole, radius, and mating surface called out—so tolerance discussions with suppliers are straightforward. Material call-outs or exploded assembly guides are not required at this stage; I only need rock-solid geometry and its exact measurements. Preferred platforms are SolidWorks, Inventor, or a neutral STEP file so I can bring it into our in-house CAM workflow, but I’m flexible if you work in a comparable professional package. Deliverables: • Native CAD file (e.g., SLDPRT/SLDASM or IPT/IAM) • Neutral format export (STEP or IGES) • PDF drawing set with all critical dimensions clearly labeled I’m happy to provide sketches, reference photos, and a brief Zoom walk-through once we start. If this sounds like a fit, let me know how many revision rounds you include and your typical turnaround time.
