About the project
I have a set of hand-drawn residential sketches that now need to become a permit-ready package fully compliant with the 2023 Florida Building Code (8th Edition). I’m searching for a drafter who already knows the nuances of Florida construction—wind-load requirements, energy codes, flood zones, the works—and can run with minimal supervision. You’ll be taking my sketches and turning them into: • Dimensioned floor plans • Detailed construction drawings suitable for submission • A clean 3D model for client presentations (compatible with Revit, AutoCAD, or SketchUp—use the platform you’re fastest in) Accuracy to FBC 2023 is non-negotiable. I expect files delivered in both native format and PDF, and I’d like to review an initial draft within one week of kick-off, with two revision cycles included. If you’ve produced Florida-approved residential plans before, especially in hurricane-prone zones, let me know. Share a sample set or two and tell me which software you’ll use so I can slot the files straight into my workflow. Looking forward to collaborating and seeing these plans come to life.
