About the project
Full-Size Chassis – 3D CAD & 2D Engineering Drawings I am looking for an experienced **automotive CAD designer / mechanical design engineer** to create a full-size 3D CAD replica of a **Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 chassis** based on supplied measurements, dimensions, technical information, and reference material. ### Scope of Work - Develop an accurate **full-scale 3D CAD model** of the chassis. - Reconstruct the chassis geometry from supplied measurements and reference data. - Model structural members, mounting points, brackets, holes, interfaces, and other relevant chassis features. - Maintain accurate dimensions and proportions based on the provided data. - Create a clean and properly structured CAD model suitable for engineering/reference purposes. - Prepare detailed **2D engineering drawings** from the completed 3D model. - Include necessary dimensions, section views, annotations, and technical details in the drawings. - Make reasonable revisions based on measurement verification and feedback. ### Required Experience The ideal freelancer should have: - Strong experience in **automotive chassis / structural CAD modelling**. - Previous experience with **reverse engineering from measurements, drawings, scans, or photographs**. - Good understanding of mechanical engineering and automotive structures. - Experience creating professional **2D manufacturing/engineering drawings**. - Strong attention to dimensional accuracy. ### Preferred CAD Software Experience with one or more of the following: - CATIA - SolidWorks - Creo - Siemens NX - Fusion 360 ### Deliverables - Full-size 3D CAD chassis model - Native CAD files - STEP/IGES file - Detailed 2D engineering drawings - PDF drawings - Any required supporting/reference files ### Important I will provide the available **measurements, dimensions, technical information, and reference material** to the selected freelancer. Please include examples of your previous **automotive chassis, frame, reverse-engineering, or complex mechanical CAD projects** when applying. Before starting the full project, the selected freelancer may be asked to complete a small sample/section to verify modelling quality and accuracy. Please mention your **CAD software, relevant experience, estimated timeline, and quotation** in your proposal.
