About the project

Hi, I’m looking for a freelancer to help me complete a pre-production assignment for my CTCH/DES 216: 3D Animation course. The assignment is due on **October 17, 2026**, so I need the complete work delivered before the deadline. **Project Title: The Last Little Light** The project is a proposal and storyboard for a short 3D animated film. The story is about a tiny glowing firefly and a lonely robot living in an abandoned city at night. The robot is unable to turn on a broken streetlamp, and the firefly initially hesitates to help because its own light is fading. Eventually, the firefly decides to help the robot repair the lamp. Together, they bring light back to the dark street. The story focuses on hope, kindness, friendship, and cooperation, with an emotional and positive ending. **1. Written Proposal** - Film title. - A one-sentence logline summarizing the story. - A description of the proposed animated short film, approximately 250 words. - A description of the intended artistic style, approximately 100 words, covering the visual style, colours, lighting, sound, and animation techniques. - An explanation of the intended purpose and target audience, approximately 250 words. **2. Storyboard** - At least 9 original hand-drawn or digitally hand-drawn storyboard frames. - Each frame must have a caption explaining what is happening in the scene. - At least 3 distinct camera angles, such as wide shots, medium shots, close-ups, high angles, low angles, or over-the-shoulder shots. - Clear arrows showing character movements and camera movements, such as flying, walking, camera pans, tilts, push-ins, or pull-backs. - The storyboard should clearly show the beginning, middle, and ending of the story. **3. Visual and Creative Requirements** The animation should have a stylized 3D look with simple, expressive character designs. The firefly should have a warm yellow glow, while the abandoned city should use darker blue, grey, and charcoal colours. The robot should look friendly and approachable. The lighting should gradually become warmer and brighter as the story progresses. The storyboard should be neat, easy to understand, and suitable for a college-level animation assignment. The drawings do not need to be highly detailed, but the characters, actions, composition, and camera angles should be clear. **4. Final Deliverables** - A complete written proposal with all required sections. - A storyboard containing at least 9 frames, each with captions, camera-angle labels, and movement arrows. - A neatly formatted final document in PDF format. - Editable source files, if available. - APA references for any external materials used. Please follow the assignment instructions I provide carefully and make sure every requirement is covered. Before starting, please confirm your price, delivery time, revision policy, and whether you can deliver everything before October 17. I would appreciate receiving the completed work early enough to review it before submission. Please also let me know if you need any additional information from me.
