Industrial-Style Residential Elevation Revision
INR 1500–12500
About the project
Residential Building Front Elevation Design – Industrial Style | 3D Renders, Material Specifications I am looking for an experienced architect or exterior façade designer to refine and finalize the front elevation of my under-construction residential building. Estimated Budget: INR 8000. Design direction already available, needs refinements and detailing. The building is a stilt + 4-floor residential structure. The RCC frame and primary structural elements are already constructed, and I have photographs of the actual building along with AI-generated reference images showing the design direction I want. I am looking for someone who can take these references, develop a cohesive and aesthetically appealing industrial-style elevation, and translate the final design into practical drawings, material specifications, and quantity estimates that can be used by my local contractor for execution. Important: The existing building structure, floor levels, balcony projections, window and door openings, columns, and overall building geometry must remain unchanged. The scope is to improve the façade design and finishes, not redesign the building structure. Design Direction I prefer a modern industrial aesthetic with a premium, minimal, and timeless appearance. The preferred design elements include: Alternating façade finishes: Full brick cladding on selected floors, alternating with a grey painted or textured finish on the other floors. Brick cladding: Help finalize the brick type, colour, laying pattern, joint width, and detailing for a consistent appearance. Grey exterior finish: A suitable grey tone, potentially similar to Perlina grey, using exterior paint or an appropriate textured finish. Balconies: Glass railings with dark grey top handrails. Balcony ceilings: Black or dark charcoal linear louvers for a clean industrial look. Windows: Dark frames with Georgian bars, where appropriate to the existing openings. Architectural detailing: Refined edges, clean lines, well-proportioned material transitions, and minimal decorative elements. Stilt and entrance: A coordinated finish that complements the upper floors and creates a neat, premium appearance. These are the initial design preferences, not rigid limitations. I welcome thoughtful improvements from the designer, provided the overall industrial aesthetic is retained and the existing structure is not altered. I will share the actual site photographs, AI-generated design references, and available building drawings with shortlisted freelancers. Scope of Work Study the existing building photographs, available plans/elevations, and AI-generated reference images. Refine the proposed elevation while retaining the existing structural geometry and openings. Finalize the façade material palette, colours, patterns, and floor-wise treatment. Develop realistic 3D renders that accurately represent the actual building. Prepare dimensioned elevation drawings and construction details for the proposed finishes. Calculate approximate material quantities and prepare a BOQ/material requirement schedule. Provide practical recommendations for materials, installation methods, weather resistance, maintenance, and local availability. Required Deliverables A. Design & Visualization Final front elevation design in the industrial style. At least 2–3 high-quality photorealistic renders showing the final design. Front view and an angled/perspective view of the building. Daylight render showing realistic colours and material textures. Floor-wise façade finish and colour scheme. One consolidated material palette with reference images, product suggestions, and colour codes. B. Technical Drawings Dimensioned front elevation drawing. Floor-wise finish layout showing the exact areas where each material is to be applied. Brick cladding layout, including pattern, joint details, corners, edges, and termination details. Grey paint/texture finish specifications and transition details between materials. Balcony glass railing design, including indicative dimensions, fixing details, and hardware specifications. Balcony ceiling louver layout, including material, finish, spacing, and fixing approach. Window frame colour and Georgian bar detailing, coordinated with the existing openings. Key façade junction and edge details required for contractor execution. C. Material Specifications & BOQ Provide a material-wise quantity estimate, preferably in Excel or Google Sheets, covering: Brick cladding: type, size, approximate area, wastage allowance, and quantity. Brick cladding adhesive/mortar, grout or pointing materials, and any specified surface preparation. Exterior paint or texture: product category, finish, coverage assumptions, primer, and approximate quantity. Balcony glass railings: glass type and thickness recommendation, hardware, handrails, and running length. Black/dark balcony ceiling louvers: material, dimensions, spacing, finish, and approximate area or quantity. Window-related façade finishes, where included in the design. Other façade materials, trims, sealants, and accessories required for the proposed design. The BOQ should clearly distinguish between measured quantities, estimated quantities, and assumptions. Where possible, include indicative product brands available in India and approximate local market rates as a separate column. D. Handover Package Final renders in high-resolution JPG/PNG format. Drawings in PDF format. Editable source files in DWG/DXF and/or the native design software format, as applicable. Material specification sheet Please apply only if you have relevant experience in residential façade design, exterior architecture, or architectural visualization. I am looking for a designer who can take the concept from AI-generated inspiration to a polished, technically detailed, and execution-ready elevation.
