Animated Flywheel and Piston Engine 3D Model

A heavy industrial flywheel with spokes, driven by a piston and connecting rod from a cylinder, on cast iron supports. Its animation shows how back-and-forth motion becomes rotation.

Technical details: about 21,700 polygons and 14,700 vertices, UV-mapped and game-ready, with two materials and texture maps, resized to about 1.5 m long. It includes one looping animation.

Available as GLB, FBX, OBJ and Blender (.blend). Use the GLB for web viewers and three.js, the FBX for Unity, Unreal or Cinema 4D (it keeps the rig and animation), the OBJ as a static mesh, and the .blend to edit it directly in Blender. AiZity cleaned up the original (centred, grounded and renamed the parts), resized it to real-world scale and converted it to these formats.

Good for physics and engineering lessons on motion and energy, steam age history, factories and machine scenes.
