About the project

I’m building a mobile game and need a realistic-looking environment that performs well on touchscreen devices. The task covers the full environment pipeline—from initial concept sketches through to optimized in-engine assets. Key points • Focus: Game environment design (no character or UI work). • Target platform: Mobile, so polycount, texture sizes, and lighting must be optimized for phones and tablets. • Visual style: Realistic—think authentic materials, natural lighting, and believable scale. Deliverables 1. Mood boards or quick sketches to lock down atmosphere and color palette. 2. Detailed environment concept art for approval. 3. 3D assets and modular pieces ready for import (FBX or equivalent), including textures, normal maps, and LODs. 4. A simple scene file that demonstrates correct placement, lighting, and performance settings on mobile. I’m happy to supply reference images, story context, and any engine specs once we start. Please mention the primary tools you’ll use (e.g., Blender, Maya, Substance, Unreal, Unity) and include samples of realistic environments you have already produced for mobile games.
