Mirror Print Rigid Foot Orthotic
USD 30–250
About the project
I have a single custom orthotic insert made from a very hard, non-flexible plastic that keeps my ankle from rolling. I’ll ship this left-foot piece to you so you can scan or otherwise capture its geometry, create an exact mirror image for my right foot, and print the new insert in an equally rigid material. Because I only have the physical orthotic, you’ll need to handle the digital modelling (photogrammetry, 3D scan, or manual CAD—whatever you prefer) before printing. Once you’ve seen the sample, please recommend the best filament or resin—PLA, ABS, nylon, or any specialty plastic—so the finished piece matches the strength and stiffness of the original. Deliverables: • Digital 3D file of the mirrored orthotic (STL or similar) for my records • One high-strength printed right-foot insert, trimmed and ready to slip into my shoe • Return shipment of my original left-foot orthotic along with the new print I’ll cover shipping costs both ways. Let me know which hard-plastic options you suggest, your estimated turnaround, and any sizing checks you plan so I can walk comfortably on both feet again.
