About the project
Custom 3-Subwoofer Enclosure Design Specification I am looking for a professionally designed 3D enclosure that is ready for fabrication. The final design should include accurate dimensions, cut sheets, internal chamber layouts, bracing, and assembly details so it can be built without requiring additional engineering. Subwoofers Center: 1 × Bazooka TAV141 10-inch triangular subwoofer Must remain in its own dedicated chamber. Preserve the original factory tri-port design and tuning as closely as possible. The ports should function like the factory enclosure and must not be obstructed. Left and Right: 2 × Pioneer IMPP 12-inch 450 W subwoofers Each Pioneer must have its own completely separate sealed chamber. The Pioneer chambers must not share airspace with each other or with the Bazooka chamber. Approximate Driver Dimensions Pioneer IMPP 12": Outside diameter: 12.25–12.50 in Mounting cutout: approximately 11.1–11.25 in Mounting depth: approximately 6 in Allow approximately 14 in of front baffle width per subwoofer. Bazooka TAV141: Approximate width: 16 in Approximate height: 14 in Approximate mounting depth: 8 in Maintain clearance around all three factory corner ports. Target Enclosure Size Preferred outside dimensions: Width: approximately 49 in Height: approximately 16 in Depth: approximately 18 in Small adjustments are acceptable if necessary to achieve proper internal volumes, maintain the factory Bazooka port tuning, improve structural rigidity, or increase build quality. Construction Materials Front baffle: 3/4-inch MDF Top: 5/8-inch plywood Bottom: 5/8-inch plywood Sides: 5/8-inch plywood Back: 5/8-inch plywood Internal dividers: 5/8-inch plywood Internal bracing: Match material thickness. Use window braces or equivalent while keeping construction simple. The enclosure should be designed for construction using standard woodworking tools. Avoid CNC-only features or complicated joinery. Exterior Finish Entire enclosure wrapped in black automotive speaker box carpet. Top panel: Large white embroidered "BAZOOKA" lettering centered across the top panel using a bold, clean block font similar to the classic Bazooka branding. The finished enclosure should have a clean show-quality appearance. Design Goals Maximize sound quality. Strong, rigid enclosure with minimal flex. Keep overall weight reasonable. Simple construction. Clean, symmetrical appearance. Factory-looking fit and finish. Proper service access if a driver ever needs replacement. Deliverables Please include: Complete 3D CAD model (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar) Fully dimensioned drawings Individual panel dimensions Complete cut sheet Internal chamber dimensions Internal airspace calculations Bracing locations and dimensions Exploded assembly view Driver mounting locations Screw locations and spacing Recommended screw size Recommended wood glue Recommended gasket tape Silicone sealing locations Port dimensions Port tuning frequency confirmation for the Bazooka chamber Material list Hardware list Estimated finished weight Multiple high-quality renders showing: Front Top Rear Internal cutaway Isometric view Layout The front layout is fixed: Left: Pioneer IMPP 12" Center: Bazooka TAV141 (factory tri-port) Right: Pioneer IMPP 12" The center chamber may extend farther forward than the Pioneer chambers if needed to preserve the original Bazooka geometry while maintaining a clean, symmetrical appearance. The finished enclosure should look professionally built, prioritize acoustic performance, and be practical to fabricate using common woodworking equipment.
