Convert Lotus Chassis Scan to Drawing
NZD 250–750
About the project
I already have a cleaned-up mesh file of a Lotus Esprit chassis. I now need it rebuilt in SolidWorks as a fully-defined sheet-metal and tubular frame model, then turned into professional engineering drawings. The final package must capture every critical element of the existing chassis: • A SolidWorks 3D model rebuilt from the supplied mesh, using proper sheet-metal and weldment features so flat-patterns and cut-lists generate correctly. • Detailed 2D drawings showing exact measurements, tolerances where relevant, full material specifications for each plate or tube, and clear weld symbols that identify position and type. • Step-by-step assembly instructions with exploded views and BOM callouts—detailed enough for a fabricator to build the frame without guesswork. I will provide the mesh file, reference photos, and any factory specs I possess as soon as the project starts. Please keep the feature tree clean and organised; I may have to update wall thicknesses later. Deliver the SolidWorks native files (.sldprt, .sldasm, .slddrw) plus exported PDFs/DXF of all drawings. example of one already done youtube.com/watch?v=ol6BUOYhYto https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/lotus-esprit-chassis-22ec1d9350854ae89fcce4a52bc57653
