Vibrant Rutgers Ice-Cream Mural

About the project

The accent wall in my new ice-cream shop just off the Rutgers campus needs a show-stopping mural that shouts “fun and playful” the moment students walk in. Bright, vibrant colors should dominate, echoing the energy of a late-night hangout where friends grab an exceptional cone, share fries, and recharge between classes. I haven’t locked into a single theme yet—elements of university life, swirling ice-cream, or a lively student scene could each work, and I’m open to your creative blend. What matters most is that the artwork feels upbeat, invites selfies, and ties the space together with the fast-casual menu. Deliverables • Three concept sketches with brief rationale • Final full-resolution artwork (vector or high-res layered PSD/AI) ready for print at wall size (dimensions provided after kickoff) • A concise color palette guide so our sign printer can match the tones exactly Once the final file is approved, I’ll handle printing and installation; I simply need production-ready art that captures Rutgers spirit, sparks conversation, and keeps the atmosphere light and memorable. The mural has to be placed in the middle of the wall with dimensions of 5X15 feet. The image needs to fade into the background wall and cannot have visible borders around it. The image needs to be in a 3D-like format and in high definition.
