1-Minute Animated Horror Shorts

About the project

I’m commissioning a series of one-minute horror videos produced entirely in animation. Each clip should stand alone as its own micro-story, deliver a clear beginning, middle and twist, and leave viewers unsettled enough to hit replay. Tone, pacing and visual style are up to you; whether you prefer slick 3D renders, hand-drawn 2D sequences or even a stop-motion look, I’m open—as long as the end result feels cinematic and unnerving. What matters most is atmosphere: tight suspense, memorable imagery and sound design that heightens tension without relying solely on loud jump cues. I’ll provide basic prompts or themes for each short, but I’m counting on your storyboarding and direction skills to shape the final narrative flow. Deliverables (per video) • Final 60-second (or slightly under) animated clip, 1080p H.264 MP4 • Separate stereo audio track if music and effects are mixed externally • Source project files so I can localise or tweak later (preferred but negotiable) I plan to green-light an initial pilot; if we both enjoy the collaboration, expect an ongoing batch of shorts. Message me with a link to your creepiest animated work and a note on your typical turnaround time.
