About the project

Pls contact only if you have the experience and can provide some samples from your previous DAS project. Responsibilities Design and simulate Indoor Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) using iBwave Design. Perform RF planning and coverage analysis for LTE, 5G, and, if required, GSM/UMTS networks. Develop complete iBwave project files (.ibw) for commercial and public buildings (airports, office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, hotels, etc.). Select and optimize DAS components, including RRUs, antennas, splitters, couplers, combiners, feeders, and passive RF equipment. Generate RF coverage prediction maps (RSRP, SINR, RSSI) and ensure coverage meets customer requirements. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), RF link budget calculations, and technical documentation. Optimize existing DAS designs based on simulation results and customer requirements. Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with iBwave Design. Strong knowledge of Passive and Active DAS architecture. Experience designing LTE and 5G Indoor DAS networks. Solid understanding of RF propagation, link budget calculations, and feeder loss analysis. Experience with DAS equipment from vendors such as CommScope, JMA, Rosenberger, Huawei, ZTE, Ericsson, or similar. Ability to independently complete the entire DAS design process from planning to final documentation. iBwave certification is an advantage. Good English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing DAS for airports, stadiums, tunnels, metro systems, or other large public venues. Experience working with 3D building models. Familiarity with mobile operator coverage and quality requirements. Working Conditions Remote position. Project-based work with the opportunity for long-term cooperation. Competitive compensation based on experience and project scope. Opportunity to work on challenging LTE/5G Indoor DAS projects. Please include in your application Years of experience with iBwave. Number of Indoor DAS projects completed. Examples or portfolio of previous DAS projects (if available). iBwave certification (if any). You will receive architectural drawings (PDF + DWG) and my preliminary design notes. Your job is to import those plans into iBwave, select the appropriate antenna types and placements, run predictive heat-maps, and iterate until coverage KPIs are met. While capacity and enhanced reliability are not the headline objectives right now, please structure the design so that additional sectors or MIMO upgrades could be layered in later without a rip-and-replace. Key deliverables • Native .ibw project file with all prediction results • PDF report showing floor-by-floor heat-maps, antenna layouts, cable routes, and bill of materials • Summary sheet outlining assumptions, RF parameters, and coverage statistics I will provide prompt feedback on each milestone so we can close the loop quickly. If you’ve completed similar mall or large-venue projects, feel free to mention them when you submit your proposal.
