About the project

I have a mechanical project that centres on drafting and modelling engine parts in AutoCAD. The goal is to take my sketches and technical notes and turn them into accurate, production-ready 2D drawings and 3D models that a machinist can follow without ambiguity. While the immediate focus is these engine components, I may later expand the work to a small-scale residential HVAC assembly that ties into the same mechanical system, so experience with both areas is a plus. Deliverables I need from you: • Fully dimensioned AutoCAD .dwg files for each part • Clean, watertight 3D models suitable for CAM or 3-D printing • A brief drawing register summarising file names, revisions, and materials I will supply hand sketches, reference photos, and any critical tolerances as soon as we start. Your work must reflect standard GD&T practices, show clear section views where needed, and keep layer naming consistent. If you can include step-by-step screenshots or a short screen-record to illustrate tricky features, that would be appreciated but isn’t mandatory. Accuracy and quick turn-around matter more than flashy rendering. Let me know your estimated timeline for the first set of parts and any questions you have about fit, finish, or required file formats so we begin smoothly.
