About the project

I’m looking for a skilled 3D artist who can create a clean, well-topologised model of a single animal for me. I have not fixed the species yet, so we can decide together which creature will best showcase your strengths while meeting my visual goals. The model must be production-ready, with UVs laid out logically and geometry that can accept textures without stretching. I’ll need the native working file (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max or similar) plus an exported FBX or OBJ so I can drop it straight into my pipeline. If you prefer sculpting in ZBrush first and then retopologising, that’s perfectly fine—just make sure the final asset is optimised for animation and can accommodate future rigging. Once you’re on board we’ll agree on: • the exact animal reference set we’ll follow • the target polycount relative to the level of realism we choose • a small review schedule with clear checkpoints (block-out, mid-detail, final pass) I’m happy to provide extra reference photos, turnaround sketches or any anatomical notes you need; just let me know what helps you work fastest. If you have relevant portfolio pieces, send them over so I can gauge how much realism or stylisation fits your style. I look forward to collaborating and seeing the creature come to life!
