About the project
I have an idea that needs to move quickly from concept to a physical prototype. I do not have any sketches or prior CAD work, so I need you to create a complete 3D model from scratch in AutoCAD (or a fully compatible platform). Once the geometry is approved, I will also need the finalized files exported in both STEP and STL formats so I can send them directly to my prototyping vendor. Scope • Model the part entirely in 3D based on my dimensions and functional notes. • Provide iterative previews so I can confirm form and fit before finalizing. Deliverables 1. Native AutoCAD (.dwg) file of the finished model 2. Neutral STEP file 3. Watertight STL ready for 3-D printing Acceptance criteria • Faces and edges must be manifold—no non-solids or inverted normals. • All dimensions stay within ±0.2 mm of the specifications I supply. • STEP imports cleanly into SolidWorks without errors; STL slices in Cura or PrusaSlicer without repair. If you have strong 3D modeling skills and understand the tolerances required for rapid prototyping, I’m ready to get started right away and will be available for quick feedback throughout the process.
