I’m ready to turn my new farmhouse into a space that feels timeless, balanced and firmly connected to the surrounding landscape. The look I’m after blends neo-classical discipline—symmetry, classic proportions, elegant and slightly ornate detailing—with the easy warmth of countryside living. Key style cues • Symmetry and classic proportions drive the layout. • Elegant, refined mouldings, panels and trims add character without tipping into formality. • A warm, earthy colour palette should echo the fields outside and soften transitions between indoors and out. Natural-light focus Sunlight is abundant on the site, yet I want glare kept in check. I’m looking for creative ways—sheer drapery, pergolas, light shelves, thoughtful window orientation—to harvest daylight, wash rooms in brightness and still avoid direct exposure. Material preferences Wood and stone are to lead the narrative for furniture, flooring and finishes. Metal may appear as an accent, but the tactile honesty of timber grain and natural stone must stay front and centre. Scope of work • Translate my CAD/PDF floorplan (ready to share) into a full interior concept. • Provide room-by-room mood boards, colour schedules, furniture plans and 3D renders that demonstrate daylight performance throughout the day. • Supply a concise lighting & shading strategy, plus a material and furniture specification I can hand directly to contractors and suppliers. Acceptance criteria – Designs respect existing dimensions and structural elements. – Daylight strategy is clearly shown in visuals or annotated drawings. – Colour, material and furniture lists reference locally available products or close equivalents. – Two revision rounds after the first full presentation are included. If phased delivery (concept → development → detailing) suits your workflow, please outline it and share relevant neo-classical or country-estate samples.
