Mechanical Design Engineer Needed – Front-Mounted Brush and Small Tree Chipper Attachment for DT-75 Crawler Tractor I am looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to design a front-mounted attachment for a DT-75 crawler tractor. This is not a self-propelled machine or a combine. It is a simple front attachment mounted on the tractor. The attachment should: Cut and collect brush, shrubs, and small trees up to 150 mm (6 inches) in diameter. Have a working width of approximately 1.5–2.0 meters. Feed the material automatically into the machine using conveyors, rollers, augers, or another suitable feeding system. Chip the wood into pieces approximately 80–100 mm long. Discharge the chipped material through a chute into a trailer. The attachment should preferably be powered by the tractor's hydraulic system using hydraulic motors wherever practical. Scope of work: Concept development. Mechanical layout and kinematic design. 3D CAD model. Manufacturing drawings. Bill of Materials (BOM). Recommendations for standard hydraulic and mechanical components. Experience in forestry equipment, agricultural machinery, wood chippers, biomass harvesting equipment, or similar heavy mechanical systems is highly preferred. I already have an initial concept and can provide sketches and additional technical requirements to the selected engineer.
