Drone Show Animation in Blender
INR 1500–12500
About the project
I’m producing a themed, drone light show for a wide audience and need a seasoned 3D animator who already speaks the language of Blender, Skybrush, and tight flight envelopes. You’ll take my creative brief (the theme is fixed; details on kickoff) and turn it into a fully simulated, technically viable swarm performance that a pilot team can fly without last-minute compromises. The role calls for someone who has done this before—portfolio pieces that prove you understand spacing, altitude ladders, battery limits, take-off/landing funnels, and how to translate artistic cues into waypoint data. Smooth transitions and elegant negative space are just as important to me as spectacle. Core workflow: • Design concept sketches or previous to lock visuals • Build formations and transitions in Blender, then refine in Skybrush for collision-free paths • Supply a preview render or screencap video for stakeholder sign-off • Deliver final .sky, .json or equivalent flight files, plus any Blender source files, ready for rehearsal Acceptance criteria: 1. All drones remain within velocity, acceleration, and minimum-distance constraints specified by Skybrush validation. 2. Total show length matches the agreed runtime (±2 s). 3. Final files import and simulate successfully on my end without manual fixes. 4. Visual outcome mirrors the approved storyboard to 90 % fidelity or better. When you reply, please send: • A link to at least one finished drone show (video or render) • Brief note on availability over the next four weeks • Your fee structure (flat rate or milestone breakdown) Timeline is firm, so reliability is non-negotiable. If you thrive on turning complex airspace into jaw-dropping visuals, let’s talk.
