About the project

I’m planning a ladies-only tailoring studio that doubles as a retail showroom, so flow and aesthetics must serve both functions equally. The overall look I’m after is modern and minimalist: clean lines, light tones, uncluttered surfaces and smart lighting that highlights finished garments without overwhelming the eye. The workshop zone has to be genuinely practical—ample bench space for multiple tailors to work side-by-side, organized storage for bolts of fabric, trims and notions, and an ergonomic layout that reduces movement between cutting, stitching and pressing stations. At the same time, clients should feel welcome and comfortable, so integrate a modest seating nook where fittings or brief consultations can happen without blocking the production area. On the showroom side, I’d like a seamless visual transition from workshop to retail. Think modular display racks or suspended rails that keep garments the focus, a minimalist reception/cash counter, hidden storage for inventory overflow and a clear circulation path that guides customers naturally through new collections. Deliverables I expect: • A scaled floor plan showing workshop, storage and showroom zones • 3D renders or mood boards conveying the modern, minimalist concept (materials, colours, lighting) • A basic furniture and fixture schedule with recommended dimensions and finishes • Lighting layout that supports both detailed tailoring work and flattering product display I’ll provide exact room measurements and photos once we start. If you’ve designed dual-purpose fashion spaces before, especially with a clean contemporary vibe, I’d love to see samples in your proposal along with a rough timeline.
