Millwork & Cabinetry CAD Drafting

About the project

I’m looking for a skilled drafter who can jump straight into producing professional drawings for all forms of cabinetry and interior trimwork—from residential kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms to larger-scale commercial millwork and even one-off custom furniture pieces. Here’s what I need you to handle on an ongoing basis: • Quick layout plans with accurate dimensions so the design intent is crystal-clear for clients and builders. • Detailed construction/shop drawings that include joinery, material call-outs, and hardware specification ready for the fabricator. • Fully rendered 3D models that help homeowners, designers, and contractors visualize finishes, proportions, and installation sequencing. You’re free to work in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or any comparable platform, provided the final files are delivered in DWG/DXF plus PDF sets, with 3D exports when required. If you’re comfortable producing cut lists or CNC-ready files, that’s a bonus. Turnaround and communication are critical: I often have overlapping projects, so the ability to manage revisions quickly and keep file naming/date stamps organized will set you apart. Send over a brief note outlining your relevant millwork experience and a sample drawing package that shows each level of detail listed above; if it meets shop-floor standards, we can start assigning work immediately and build a steady pipeline together. We are a component manufacturer and have a lot of drawings needed in a short amount of time. This could become an ongoing project. We primarily work in 3d AutoCad, but am open to cabinet vision or possibly other software.
