About the project

PROJECT OVERVIEW I need an interactive, web-based 3D walkthrough of a hospital interior. A camera (first-person or guided view) moves through the building along a predefined path made of 8 sequential steps. Each step has a fixed duration, and an on-screen timer shows the elapsed time for the current step and the cumulative total. The project is used for training and demonstration purposes. I already have a base project built in Babylon.js / Three.js and strongly prefer that you build on top of it rather than start from scratch. I will share the project files after we agree to work together (I can sign an NDA). ENVIRONMENT A representative (generic, fictional) hospital interior, including: - Main entrance / lobby - Connecting corridors - A radiology / radiation department - A treatment room containing a medical radiotherapy device (Gamma Knife-style unit) — I will provide a reference image. The layout does not need to match any real building; a clean, plausible hospital layout is fine. STEP SEQUENCE & TIMING The camera follows this path. Each step advances automatically (or on click), and its duration drives the timer: 1. Enter through the main entrance ......... 15s 2. Move to the radiation department ........ 45s 3. Enter the radiation department .......... 15s 4. Move to the treatment room .............. 25s 5. Enter the treatment room ................ 45s 6. Move to the device ...................... 15s 7. Reach the device (main focus step) ..... 100s 8. Exit the building ....................... 40s Total: 300 seconds (5 minutes) UI / HUD REQUIREMENTS - A small on-screen panel showing: current step number, step label, elapsed time for the current step, and cumulative total time. - Ability to pause between steps and resume (for discussion during a session). - Optional: next / previous step controls and a reset button. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS - Runs in a modern desktop web browser. - Built in Babylon.js or Three.js (to match the existing project). - Smooth camera movement and transitions between steps. - You may use stock / pre-made 3D models (hospital assets, furniture, medical equipment) to save time. - Clean, commented, well-organized source code. DELIVERABLES - The complete working walkthrough, integrated into / extending my existing project. - Full source code. - A short note on how to run and edit it (e.g. how to change step timings). WHAT I WILL PROVIDE - The existing Babylon.js / Three.js project. - A floor-plan sketch of the desired layout. - The step/timing table above. - A reference image of the device. IN YOUR PROPOSAL, PLEASE INCLUDE - Your earliest start date and estimated completion time. - A milestone-based quote. - Note if you can deliver quickly — fast turnaround is preferred. SUGGESTED MILESTONES 1. Lobby + one corridor as a test (approve style/approach). 2. Full hospital environment + device room. 3. Step sequence + timer/HUD + final polish.
