Conceptual SolidWorks Mechanical Component Model
INR 1500–12500
About the project
I have an early-stage idea for a single mechanical component and now need a clean, fully-parametric 3D model built in SolidWorks. I’m still in the conceptual phase, so the focus is on capturing overall form, key interface dimensions, and clear design intent rather than final manufacturing details. You’ll receive my hand sketches and rough dimensions. From there, translate them into a well-structured SolidWorks part file. Please use fully defined sketches, sensible feature names, and parent-child relations that stay stable when dimensions change—I’ll be iterating on this file after your hand-off. Neutral STEP output is also required so I can share the concept with collaborators who don’t use SolidWorks. Once you deliver the first version, I’ll provide markup for one or two quick revision rounds to lock in the geometry. No detailed drawings or stress analysis needed right now—just the solid model. Acceptance criteria: • Native SolidWorks (.SLDPRT) file, 2020 or later • Matching STEP export • Feature tree free of rebuild errors and warnings • Brief set of screenshots (or short screen capture) showing the model from critical angles With this model in place, I’ll be ready to move confidently into the development phase.
