About the project
I am seeking a CAD specialist to enhance or rebuild a beta software currently in Python and HTML. The software is designed for medical deformity correction planning, including patient-specific custom guide and plate creation. Key deliverables include: 1. Improving DICOM file upload functionality and bone segmentation. 2. Adding automatic angular deformity measurement capabilities. 3. Developing virtual deformity correction tools. 4. Enabling patient-specific guide and plate modeling by positioning screws first. 5. Allowing export of designs in STL format for 3D printing. 6. Resolving front-end and back-end integration issues in the current beta version. Timeline: Initial improvements (DICOM handling, segmentation, angular measurements) within 2 months; full project completion within 6-12 months.
